Boom Blaster Challenge Game

The Speed-Pumpin', Balloon-Bustin' Challenge Game!
Boom Blaster combines the excitement of a balloon-popping contest with a safe, authentic-looking blasting detonator straight from the Saturday cartoons. Two or more players frantically pump, inflating their balloons until they reach the balloon-bursting arcs. First to burst - BOOM! - is the winner. (Small, well-labeled points help burst balloons when they reach air capacity). The game provides fabulous visual fun and excitement for all ages, indoors and out, year round.

There are many ways to play Boom Blaster:
2-PERSON BLAST-OFF
- As pictured, two people pump away to see who can be first to burst. A real crowd pleaser at special events!

4-PERSON BLAST-OFF - Can be played as 4 people competing to win, OR, 2 teams play until one team bursts BOTH of its balloons. [Can be adapted for any number of games]

TAG TEAM BOOM RELAY - Two (or more) teams line up about 10 feet from the Boom Blaster units. At the start each person runs to the Boom Detonator, pumps handle 5 times, runs back to tag the hand of the next person. This is repeated until the winning team bursts its balloon! (Or, play so that the winning team is the one whose balloon doesn't pop.)

BOOM TIME COMPETITION - With one unit, contestants take turns trying to be the fastest to burst their balloon, based on a stopwatch.

PUT COUPONS IN BALLOONS - Prepare and insert small paper coupons inside the balloons you'll be using with Boom Blaster. Then when a player wins, they get the prize listed on their coupon.

DRESS UP THE GAME - Imagine the balloon is an inflating "head". Dress the Boom Towers to appear like bodies with arms, legs and clothing. Draw faces on the balloons and race to see whose "head" pops first.

ONE LEG OF A BIG EVENT - Create special events where contestants need to play a sequence of games faster. For example, race to bust a Boom Blaster balloon, then run a potato sack race and finish with a run through University Rental’s obstacle course. Boom Blaster works great with any combination of games and activities.

NON-LATEX BALLOON ALTERNATIVE - Try playing with non-latex medical gloves (e.g., the purple nitrile gloves you can buy in medical supply stores or online; medium size works best). You just need to add and use a 7/8" turn-key hose clamp (generally in plumbing section of hardware stores) for each game. Thread glove opening through hose clamp then turn over, place and tighten on the Boom Blaster balloon nozzle. Play Boom Blaster as you would with any other balloon. But the glove look gives it a surprising fun "hello" wave! The nitrile glove bursts just like latex balloons, with a loud "boom". When finished, simply loosen the hose clamp, discard broken glove, repeat and play again!

Important: Please ensure to pick up broken balloon pieces while playing - keep away from young children.

Boom Blaster sets up in less than a minute. Place the Boom Tower and Boom Detonator box near one another, and connect the hose nozzle from the box to the tower as you would a bike pump to a bike tire. Then place balloons on the vertical tubes at the towers' centers, and play.
